Hi,
My name is Felicia Adamson. I was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. I attended a small country school, Unionville Elementary School, and then later attended Bloomington High School North and graduated Indiana University with my Elementary Education license. After graduating, I realized that I wanted something new, I wanted a change of pace, and I wanted to do it on my own, so I moved to Oregon. I spent the first six months living in Corvallis but commuting to Portland for work, and then spent the rest of the year substituting in Corvallis while my Indiana license transferred to an Oregon license.
I have two younger siblings, my sister, Summer, and my brother, Sam. My mom is my best friend. Family is extremely important to me and I am so lucky to have the awesome family that I have. Surprisingly, I didn't realize that I wanted to be a teacher until middle school. As a kid, I really wanted to be a racecar driver. I am very thankful that dream didn't work out! Teaching is my life, it's everything I've ever wanted. I am so excited to begin my career, and my adventures, in Room 8 at Walterville School.
